  • Can I do my daily activities with Nuubo?

    Nuubo is specifically designed for you to make your life as normal as possible, you can keep on with your normal exercise, walks, work, sleep, shopping, etc. Just keep in mind that Nuubo can not get wet, so when you go showering or bathing just take it off. This is a good time to charge the minder battery.

  • What is an arrhythmia?

    An arrhythmia is an occasional or constant problem with the heart rhythm of your heart beats. Your heart may be beating too fast, too slow or with an irregular rhythm. During an arrhythmia, some people may feel palpitations in their chest or that their heart is suddenly accelerated.

    Fatigue, lightheadedness or fainting can also be possible symptoms of an arrhythmia. Some arrhythmias do not cause any symptoms at all. There are many types of arrhythmias. Some arrhythmias are harmless, but others can be serious or even life-threatening. If an arrhythmia is severe or lasts long enough to affect the functioning of the heart, it can prevent the heart from pumping enough blood into the body.

    Even severe arrhythmias can be treated successfully. Before treatment, your doctor must first determine in what part of the heart an arrhythmia may be occurring and whether or not it is abnormal.

  • Can Nuubo affect my health?

    NO, Nuubo is a monitoring system, it only records the activity of your heart, but does not apply any therapy at all.

  • How do I use Nuubo?

    Nuubo is a simple system that works automatically, you only have to put the textile vest on, in the way your doctor or nurse explained, and put the connected minder. (According to the instructions for use). Once you wear the textile vest, you can lead normal life.

  • How long should I wear Nuubo?

    Your doctor or nurse will tell you how many days you should wear Nuubo. Nuubo's technology allows it to be used in periods of prolonged monitoring. Depending on the suspected arrhythmia your doctor may have to indicate a specific period of time. (7, 15 or 30 days ..)

  • What should I do if I feel symptoms while wearing Nuubo?

    If you feel the symptoms for which monitoring was prescribed to you, or any other symptom, you must press the minder (then Nuubo will automatically mark that record as special). It is important to write down in your event diary what symptoms you felt and the date and time.

  • How often should I load my Nuubo?

    EU: You should charge your Minder for 1 hour a day, it is advisable to use the time of your bath or shower to do so.
    USA: You should load your Minder every 5 days, the lights will let you know when it is fully charged

  • Can I charge the Nuubo battery while I'm wearing it?

    NO, it must be removed from the vest and plugged into the electric current to avoid any risk

  • Can I train with Nuubo?

    Yes, Nuubo's design allows you to live a normal life, simply do what you do in your day to day, trying to forget that you wear the monitoring system.

  • Can I wash Nuubo?

    You can wash Nuubo (but only the textile) and you should use neutral soap and cold water.

  • Can I travel with Nuubo?

    Yes, there is no problem in using Nuubo in other places, Nuubo will continue to register your activity. The only restriction recommended is limited use on the plane. Turn off the minder during the flight

  • Can I shower or bath with Nuubo?

    No, Nuubo can not get wet

  • Is wearing Nuubo an obstacle for my daily life?

    No, you can continue to live your life in a completely normal way. The only thing you can not do are water activities since the system can not get wet.

  • How do I know if the device is fully charged?

    Nuubo has a light system that helps you to know if the battery is fully charged. If the light flashes 4 times the battery is 100% charged. Consult the instruction manual for more details.

  • What is the gel used for?

    The gel is a better conductor that will allow your ECG record to be more precise, and it is also designed to avoid irritations on your skin.

  • How many times a day should I apply the gel?

    The gel should be applied in the morning after washing yourself and before going to bed. If you feel irritation you can apply the gel more often.

  • How do I know if Nuubo is recording?

    You must have the Minder in record mode: In this mode you can register your electrocardiographic signal along with the rest of the physical parameters for a maximum period of 32 hours, provided that the MINDER is fully charged

    1. To start recording data, move the mode switch to the “record” position. (at the right side of the "off" icon).
    2. You will hear two beeps within two seconds after turning on the device: this means that the device is working correctly. The device will make a long beep in case there is any problem (10 seconds)
    3. Check that the microSD card is inserted correctly.

    Your MINDER device will start recording your session. This is indicated by a double beep and a flashing green intermittent light of the recording sign. If you notice that the blue light turns on and stays fixed, this means that your device is not synchronized with the current date.

  • How do I know if I wear the device correctly?

    The device should be comfortable and you should place it as instructed. In the following link you can also watch the animated video to make it easier for you.

  • Is any micro SD card for the device OK?

    No, you should not manipulate the minder, the card should always be in its slot and you should not remove it at all. Any manipulation could cause the entire record to be deleted, information to be lost or incorrectly recorded

  • Which is the Nuubo that best suits me?

    There are sizes, your doctor or nurse will give you your correct size according to your measures. That will guarantee you more comfort.

  • I’ve lost my charger, can I use any other?

    No, Nuubo is a medical device and you must use it with the corresponding charger. Contact your doctor or nurse and they will recommend you what to do.

  • Who do I contact to get my Nuubo?

    Nuubo is a medical device, it has no use outside a healthcare environment. The right thing to do is to go to your doctor and he/she will tell you if Nuubo is your best option.
